#32 Another Great week in Finland!

Sorry, this is going to be another short mail. We are going to the Helsinki Zoo....they close early...which means, we don't have a lot of time:))
This week has just been another great one here in Espoo! It has gone by really fast!  It feels like it's been one of those weeks that goes by in the blink of an eye.
Wednesday we had a tracting block that literally took forever and I thought it was never going to end haha. They go by fast when you have people to talk to....but we were there knocking doors for about 2 hours and literally nobody answered!:). We talked to about 2 people and they gave us the nice dismiss within about 10 seconds of talking to them:). But that day was redeemed when we went over to have a lesson with this guy that we met about a month ago:) He's been gone for work for the past month but finally came back!! He is such a cool guy. We explained the restoration and  he was like "What you guys said sounds a lot like what the mormons believe" it was pretty funny. But then had to explain why we are not called Mormons:))
Thursday we went and had a lesson with a guy... and that was such a confusing lesson. He was bringing up some stuff from the koran and we had no idea what the heck he was talking about. But we had a good lesson with him in the end...once we figured out what he was talking about:)). But we are going to be meeting with him again so that is a good thing. We also went and we tried to follow up with a lot of former investigators and none of them were home. So we are gonna have to go again to find them so we can talk with them.
Friday was a really fun day! :) We had a service project and helped a family move... one of the easiest moves I have ever done. Everything was so light so we just started hauling stuff and we got it done so fast. But it was a lot of fun cause we don't get many opportunities to help around here... so that was way fun. We got to do some weekly planning and get to plan for all of our investigators and less actives and how we can help them. It does take a really long time do to it, but it's pretty fun and we get to talk about all the people that we are teaching.  After weekly planning we had some service for a ward member and a DA with them as well...and that was so much fun. We talked and they kept telling us stories after stories after stories. It was hilarious to hear about these peoples lives. We were cracking up and it was a lot of fun. They are one of my favorites down here in Espoo.
Saturday we had an awesome lesson with one of our investigators. They have been investigating for a really long time and we got to meet with them and just sit down and have  a really good talk and we had a great lesson. I love when we are able to sit down and talk with someone and you can tell that the spirit is really strong in the lesson and we have a good conversation. You are able to get a lot done and the spirit can work within someone as you are teaching them..and it's a really cool experience. We also played soccer with one of our investigators that morning with his like 15 Nigerian friends... and that was so much fun. They have a big speaker and they blast their Nigerian pop music and we have a big soccer game. I am proud to say I have earned their trust as being an American who can play soccer pretty well... and I was able to score a goal and have some dang good passes that led to some goals haha. So lets just say they really like to have me on their team and play with them:)). But man these guys are good!! They will dance circles around me as well cause they have been playing for a really long time and they have cleats:)).
Sunday we had church and that was fun. The second hour our ward mission leader held a meeting with the rest of the ward about missionary work. He pretty much just chastised the  ward and told them they needed to do better at helping us out...so we told them what we needed help with... and he had made calendars and told them to fill out what days they can help with lessons. So this was one crazy meeting and very scary cause it was all in Finnish!!. But we made it through and after...everyone was like "hey you should come over for dinner"... and we set up a ton of dinner appointments and that is great as well:)). Then we went out tracting and street contacting. President had told us the path by the beach was popular at this time of year and so we took his word for it and tried it. There were so many people!!  Also got some cool pics at the beach.
Yesterday was just a day of tracting and we took a little break and went to the top of a water tower which has a restaurant at the top...and we looked at the view and took some pictures. You can literally see for miles and it is so cool. But that was about all for yesterday haha.
Today we are going to the zoo and you can see pics from out p day last week to Suomenlinna which was was fun. It's an old military fortress.
Have a great week!
