#25 God puts the right people in your path

Well hello everyone!! It's just been another great week here in Finland!! This is the last week of our transfer and we get our transfer calls on Friday... so it's pretty exciting to see what's going to happen:)
Honestly not much has happened this week so this one could be a little shorter... but we will see:)).
Wednesday we had district meeting and we had interviews with president! That was a ton of fun... it's always fun to meet with president and talk with him. They also always say that president drops hints about your transfer when he meets with you right before transfer calls... and guess what... yeah that's right...no hints whatsoever:)) so we will see on Friday what happens. Later that day we called one of our potentials to see if we could get a lesson set up with him... and we were shooting for sometime in the weekend or next week... and was like "Can you meet me today?" So of course we tell him that we can meet him right away... and we met him that night. Literally the craziest most spiritual lesson I have been in on my entire mission. I know that's not saying much cause I have only been out 6 months.. but still... it was an awesome lesson!! We sat in the library and taught him... sadly he has just lost everything in his life and just wants some peace and happiness. The great thing is..is that the gospel helps with all of that and more!! So we taught him the restoration and about the Book of Mormon and it was just going great!! He opened up and told us his thoughts... and it was just so good! That is all I can say to describe it! And at the end of the lesson he goes on to tell us how the message we shared with him today made him feel so much better.... and then we set up another appointment so that we can meet with him again. It was so great! You never get lessons like that... and sometimes God just puts the right people in your path.
Thursday honestly not much happened that day. We met with some of our less active members and that was fun to see some of our members and try to strengthen them and help them come back to church. Some of them need a little bit more and that is why we are here. It is to help them! So that was pretty fun....other than that we were just tracting the rest of the day... pounding doors and throwing snowballs at each other haha.
Friday we had had a DA with one of my favorite old couples in the ward and that was a lot of fun. They made some way good food....this time it was just a ton of rice and chicken and it sounds simple, but it tasted amazing!!. We chatted with them and about church and shared a spiritual message with them.  It was a good visit and they are always willing to help us out when we need them... so that is great as well:). After eating with them we had weekly planning and that is a great time to sit down and figure out what is best for the people we are teaching... and our less actives.... and how we can better help strengthen them... so that was a good time.
Saturday was a fun day cause we were invited to go to the zone leaders baptism!! We and other missionaries from the zone got to come as well. So it was a little zone gathering at the baptism:))  The guy getting baptized was one of the nicest guys that I have ever met and was so ready. I have never seen anyone this excited to be baptized... he was grinning from ear to ear. At the end of the service and we were waiting in the chapel... they asked him to give a few thoughts and he couldn't get up because he was crying so much... cause he was so happy!! It was such a cool experience to see someones life change for the better in the matter of seconds and it was awesome!! It was something I wish a lot of people could have been there for. That took up majority of our day... we had a small tracting session that evening and not much action happening there... and that was about our day.
Sunday was church and our church parking lot was a pool because ice had frozen over the drain and the rest of the ice on top had melted... so that was really funny to see:)) Then the rest of the day after church we were just tracting and we went into one of the tallest buildings in Espoo... and tracted in that and took a picture at the top. I am sorry there are no pictures this week... for some reason the lap top won't let me  upload any photos... so I will have to do all of that next week.
Monday we helped some ward members move from on apartment to another and I remember how much I hate moving haha... but it was a lot of fun... and we got to spend some good time with the members and with a YSA who is preparing to leave on a mission soon! It was just fun being able to talk with him and hear his thoughts about a mission and where he wants to go. You know the typical pre mission questions that everyone asks haha. But it was a lot of fun and we got a lot of stuff moved for them so that was great. Then that night we went and we had a DA at my favorite members place... and they made us chili which was so dang good!! She also got all this ice cream out  and was like "I need you boys to eat all of this" And we just laughed... but she was dead serious:)) We were like... we can try....but we were so full from the chili.... we got a little ice cream in we tapped out. We were not able to finish it all and she was like " Even though you couldn't finish it all... you boys did a good job" haha they are seriously the funniest people ever!!
That"s about all folks. We are meeting the Aps today and we are gonna play some board games with them so that should be fun.
Hope all have a great week!
Elder love out
