Wednesday there was EMLC and Elder Fitzpatrick had to go to this meeting because he is a district leader... so that meant that while he was at the meeting all day,me and some other missionary were gonna go out and do some work:). Well we had to be at the church in Haaga by 9:30. So we left early to give us enough time to get there by train and get to the church by 9:30. Well, something went wrong in our planning cause we had 45 min in Helsinki before our train to Haaga even left:). So we were like...well... that is just enough time to go see that old cool church in the center of town...so we hurried, took some pictures, and then we went and got on our train to Haaga. We are planning on going to Helsinki one of these P days to go walk around and go see some cool stuff. We got to Haaga and we mingled with the other missionarie... and then was time for the meeting to start and for the rest of us to leave. And who are the oldest missionaries out of he 5 that were there... Me and Elder Aitken (from his MTC group and great friend). We were in the same group... and the rest of the guys we were taking out to work, were all younger than us in the mission... so me and Aitken were joking around like what the heck are we gonna do, cause we know nothing haha. But my Comp for the day was Elder Ormsby. He is from Australia and is one MTC group behind me. So we went out and we worked and it was great!! We had a great couple of tracting blocks, we had a great lesson with one of our less active members and it was just a way good day! Our lesson with the less active member...we started out just us three.... but then he saw one of his friends and he came over and he told his buddy who we were and we all started talking. Well let me tell ya... Africans can talk, they both rambled on for like 15 just bouncing off one another with comments about church and God. It was great to listen to and hear their thoughts... but man it was a little hard to get these guys to focus haha. But we got his friend's number and we are working with him now to start teaching him... so that was great!
Thursday we had a pretty normal normal day.. we went out tracting and had a lot of people answer to us and we had some good conversations. Sadly not to many people are interested.. but it's all good... we just keep on going till we find that one right? Honestly can't remember anything else from Thursday:)
Friday we had weekly planning and we also had a dinner appointment with a Filipino family. They invited us over and we helped prepare the food... and my chopping skills were on point!! I was doing great haha. But we had some way good spring rolls, fried shrimp, sushi, and salmon. I haven't had sushi in a really long time and that tasted really good. It had salmon and crab in it and that was really good. I ate a lot of that and the salmon cause that was really good. Then they busted out the karaoke machine again:))) and we got caught singing some more karaoke, and then we were like hey sorry but we gotta go now haha. If not I think they would have kept us there the rest of the night singing karaoke:))

Saturday we had another day of tracting and visiting less actives. We finally got to meet one of the less actives that we have been trying to meet with FOREVER!! We have not met this person once... and then finally on Saturday we decided to see if they were home... and they were! So we finally got to meet this person and talk with him and his family and it was great!! They are such nice people so it was a lot of fun getting to talk to them and get to know them.
Sunday we had church and that was good. But a big highlight from today was we met with another less active member!! We have struggled to meet with him...because sometimes he forgets that we are coming and he goes somewhere:)) Well; this time he had asked us to study about Faith and we would talk about it. I have never seen him so prepared. He was all ready with his Bible and Book of Mormon... with scriptures all high lighted and we just sat down and had this heart to heart talk about faith... and he shared with us his thoughts and we shared some of our thoughts. We just had a really cool and good discussion with him. Then he invited us over again but this time the topic is on repentance... so we will talk about that with him this week. And his wife made us this really good Congo food so that is a plus as well.
Monday we had a great day of tracting:) A group of 10 year olds followed us on a tracting block and they interrupted us in one of our door contacts and were like "What book is that?" "you can come talk to my dad about our book" And on and on hahah. It was pretty funny and they followed us all the way to the bus stop. They were a determined little group of kids to figure out who we were and what we talked about:)). So we will probably go back and talk to their families and see how they are doing:).
Today we are gonna play soccer with the APs and we are gonna walk to a pond on this trail in the woods so that should be cool to go see. We are also gonna plan with the APs p day activities that we want to do together before the transfer ends... so we are gonna have some way fun p days coming up.
Sorry that is all I got for ya this week:) Have a great week!

Some of the questions we asked Austen this week:
1) A favorite scripture this week: Genesis 21:6 :And Sarah said, God hat made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me." Austen says.."I think at the time this is when Sarah is told that she is going to have a kid and she laughs cause she thinks she is too old. I like it cause you can also take it into a happy sense and that God made me a happy person to enjoy life and laugh...so that others who hear will laugh with me and you know, enjoy life as well and just enjoy living in the moment."
2) What is your favorite thing about being a missionary? "I love it when you meet someone and you just have a really good conversation, or you meet those people you have been working with and you get to chat...and you all just become really good friends.
1- Helsinki main in the morning
2-8 from Helsinki
9 - Him and Elder Aitkin from the MTC
10 - Him and Ormsby....Austen forgot the keys on his desk...so they waited for the others to get home:)
