#40 We just keep on going....

Wednesday was Zone Conference! Zone Conference was a lot of fun. We got to see all the other missionaries and got to talk to President and sister Aura which was way fun. Zone conference we talked a lot about how we can best use our new devices and they helped us get all set up. We also talked about how we can make our contacts better and putting an emphasis on the Book of Mormon. We left zone conference with our new smart phones and finally got rid of these crappy Nokias we had been using. On the way back...we went to get some dinner with the zone leaders and then we headed back. We went to teach a lesson at the library. But sadly he never showed up so we didn't get to teach him.
Thursday we headed out to go do some tracting out in Henttaa and we were able to find 2 new potential  to teach. They were both such nice people and one lady said to come back and we could talk later. So it was a good morning and then we went to meet one of our friends that we are teaching at Iso Omena because he wanted to take us to lunch . Now if people want to buy me food I won't be turning that down Haha. We had some Asian food and then he showed us his favorite ice cream place and it was fun getting to see him again cause he's been sick for the past while. We did some more tracting that afternoon and then we had a lesson with this guy. We went planning to teach him about the Book of Mormon and instead we were taught about the Koran and about Mohammed. So my knowledge in the Islam religion increased but man sometimes it's so hard to listen to them cause I get so bored, and half the stuff they say just doesn't make sense and I think in my head "huh? What the heck is going on" but he taught us about the Quran and Islam and I guess that means we will just teach him next time:))
Friday we did all our studies and we got that done cause we had a busy afternoon planned...so we had to get that all done. Well we were gonna go teach that guy who called us on Sunday and sadly he had to cancel on us cause something came up... but he said we could reschedule so that is a good sign! So hopefully we can get another lesson set up. We then had to do weekly planning which takes a really long time but we were able to get it all done and got our next week planned. When you plan for the next week it just makes it go so much faster cause you see where the week is gonna end and this next week ends in June! Like what the heck... where did May go? So this month has just gone by so fast. We then had a lesson with one guy we have been teaching for a really long time but in the 5 months I've been here in Espoo he has made more progress in the past couple weeks than he has in 5 months... so this is awesome to see. We taught him and he also wanted to show us what he does for work and so he showed us and that took a little longer than we thought. He was so excited to show us that I just didn't have the heart to tell him we needed to speed things up, so we sat and listened to him.
Saturday was way fun. We went and we played soccer with our friends from Nigeria. We had a lot of fun with them and it's always fun cause we have all become good friends. We just  joke around and have a good time. Then for the rest of the day it was a good tracting day. We got rejected a ton cause people were watching the Finland vs Russia hockey game and we are proud to say that Finland won! So that makes the Finnish people way happy. But sadly nobody wanted to talk to us. That night we went to a different area to tract and we started knocking doors and we were getting a lot of people to answer. Must have been a good time for people to be home. So we started knocking and everyone told us no Haha. But me and Elder Kimball had a lot of fun chatting while we were out so that made it fun. But we just kept going.
Sunday we had church and that was really good. We got an investigator to come to church which was great cause I don't know why.... but it's so hard for people to come!!:). We got to talk with a lot of members and catch up from the last week which was fun. We came back and we did some studies and then headed out. It's been raining for the past couple of days here so we went out with our umbrellas and walked to where we were going to go tracting, and we found a guy who might be interested in learning... so that was great! But the rain just kept coming and we kept going. We had some dinner and then went out again for the night block and the rain had stopped for a little and we decided to bike to where we were going for the night cause it was faster than the bus. Well we started riding and I'm not kidding... as soon as we got a little ways away it started raining again! It was not too bad... we got our windbreakers on so we weren't getting wet... but then it just got worse and worse and by the time we made it to where we were going, it was coming down pretty good and we may have been a little wet Haha. But it was a lot if fun and despite all the people telling us they were not interested... it was a good night. Also come to find out Finland played Canada in the final round and they won! Way to go Finland! So that's good cause that should put people in a good mood. The Fins love their hockey:)
Monday was pretty good..we had a lot of time to tract and we just pounded the doors all day. One thing that I still don't get about the Finnish people... if you're in the shower, you don't need to answer the door! You can let us come back another time hahaha. But yet they still have to come to the door:)) Other than tracting we had a DA with a member family and we went to eat and help them throw a bookshelf away and break it down for them. But other than that not much happened but it was a good day.
Today we are going to Nuuksio again so that should be a lot of fun!
Hope y'all have a good week!
Elder Love out
